About us
- YZR Capital is an investment firm based in Munich, Germany
- The current c. €100m venture capital fund focuses on early-stage health tech startups
- The team consists of experienced doctors, entrepreneurs and private equity / venture capital professionals and is responsible for several lighthouse transactions in the sector
- YZR Capital manages capital for leading institutional and private investors and invested in European health tech challengers like Scan, filu, and DeepLife
Tasks
- Identifying and evaluating new investment opportunities
- Leading due diligence processes, including market, product, team, and financial analysis
- Preparing materials for internal decision-making and investor communication
- Conducting deep dives into sectors and technologies relevant to our investment focus
- Engaging with portfolio companies on strategic and operational topics
- Supporting the continuous development of our investment platform through research, tools, and internal initiatives
- Assisting the partners with fundraising efforts and internal topics
Requirements
- University degree in business, economics, or a similar field
- Previous relevant experience in dynamic roles such as venture capital/private equity, strategy consulting, investment banking is necessary
- Strong entrepreneurial, analytical and curious mindset
- Enthusiasm for new business models in the field of health tech
- Excellent academic performance and/or outstanding extracurricular activities
- High motivation, initiative, and a collaborative spirit as well as strong communication skills
- English proficiency, good knowledge of German (B2+)
